The Annual Meeting was a great time for all of us who attended. What with free dogs and brats plus slaw etc..
whata deal!
The Salmon in the Classroom instructional was edifying for everyone. It is amazing what this can do to educate not only the very young (i.e. kindergartners through high school level kids – let alone us under- edified adults) and inspire them to understand somewhat more of the world that surrounds them; simply put the monies we expend to support this program are well spent!!
The Annual Meeting was fun and provided some great discussions concerning where we are and where/what we perceive as the next steps on our mission. As always topics followed the same themes, but the most important one underscoring all is…
volunteer….volunteer… volunteer….. It is the life source of our organization.
The annual meeting report will be published soon; however, as the president of the LMWCC, I would thank you all who attended and request those who could not make it to come to next years meeting. It is always the first Saturday after the 4th of July at 10:00am.

First place prize for Raffle — 2-kayak package with paddles and life vests
