Website: Joyce is working on updating site we will pass monthly minutes to her.
H20 survey- we have good results from the survey, it may be a good idea to put the results on the website. It has been found that there was no impact of the bug count after the lampricide treatment.
Mike Mc Kinney from West Shore Community College will be using his class to do fish shocking of the Little Manistee at Johnson’s Bridge and create a base line; this will take place on August 17, 2009 beginning at 9:00am. He has DNR permit and will provide the board with a report on the findings.
Volunteer Project at Fox Bridge on 8-29-2009 at 9:00 am DNR has permitted this is a 30 foot section. We will be using a jet pump, and our own equipment. Please call Kaye MacDonald we need volunteers for this project. Nat Winkler will also be attending this project and check out the Maryville Road and 4 mile area.
New Business

Network solutions maybe what she is looking for.
Dave reported someone was building a structure on the LM above Fox Bridge someone will check this out.
Handicap access has been tabled at this time.
Memorial Funds Fred Hawkey, Joe Rogers, we will let families know when these funds are used (this maybe used at Driftwood John made motion and second by Roger) Gary Skinner-this is on Indian Club property.
Salmon in the Classroom is currently in process, we are looking at implementing the program at elementary, middle and possibility high school. Trout Unlimited might help with this program and teaching the kids to fish, we could check this out and see what they have to offer.
Grant possibilities- Little Band of Ottawa Indians CRA is currently working on this. Dave Spruance suggested checking into grants from Patagonia and Orvis. This maybe helpful since this is considered a wild fish breeding river.
